The other side of the story
This site grew out of research into what it costs to grow a family through IVF and fertility treatment — but it's the other side of that equation. While we were digging into costs from the intended-parent side, we spent a lot of time reading blogs and forums written by egg donors and surrogates themselves.
What struck us was that alongside the very real financial incentive, there was something else running through almost every story — a genuine desire to help someone else start a family. We wanted a site that took both of those seriously, instead of pretending only one of them was real.
So this site exists to give prospective donors and surrogates the same clear, honest picture we wished existed on the other side: real compensation ranges by state, what actually goes into that number, and what the process looks like before you fill out a single agency form.

How We Work
When you submit an application through our site, we share your information with 3–5 licensed Partner Agencies in your area. Those agencies review your application and reach out to qualified candidates for further screening. We earn a referral fee when a qualified lead is delivered — this is how we keep our calculators and resources free for everyone.
Our commercial relationships with agencies do not influence the compensation data we publish. Estimates are based on independent market research, not what agencies ask us to display. See our Methodology for full details.
